My sis enjoyed her visit to  Vigan heritage houses. Personally,  I had mixed emotions- I felt a bit sad, mysterious, curious as I walked  through Crisologo Street, Vigan,  The old houses brought me back to the year 1600.  Of course, I've never been there but what came back to my mind  was  the Noli Me Tangere & El Filibusterismo novels of Jose Rizal ( the national hero in the Philippines). No.. I am not Maria Clara. My first knowledge of the word "kanser" (ng lipunan) was from  Jose Rizal's novel.  What a burdensome word ,in reality  God is much greater than that word.
Oh well, I'm still me ; I am a hyper active person but there is something about Vigan that will slow you down for a moment and you will go back in time. The place is so nostalgic especially at night.  I'm glad there are souvenir stores because it  reminds  me that "it's the year 2013 today".

Cordillera Inn bedroom - 3 beds , 2,000 pesos overnight stay w/ breakfast.  I did not capture the extra bed. This is good for 3 persons.  It's Air-conditioned room, w/  cable tv set, toilet & bath (hot & cold water). cell #09273135616 

 Crisologo Street at night. There are many  souvenir shops, bakery, restaurant like Mang Inasal & would you believe ... a funeral parlor (Why?).  Hope businessmen will put up a "vintage car for rent" there, that is more appropriate in Crisologo Street.

 I enjoyed my sleep here.  It was peaceful and relaxing.  I checked other hotels/Inns, Cordillera Inn in Crisologo St. is the most  accessible, authentic and room  rates  are reasonable. There are two Cordillera Inns but we chose the one in Crisologo St. It's along the heritage houses and lower room rates than Cordillera Family Inn, Florentino St.

There's a school in Crisologo St. Good for kids early morning exercises .

 The souvenir shops. Buy some or plenty for pasalubong and own use. I bought a Vigan T shirt on sale at 100 pesos.

There are many tricycles nearby Crisologo St.  Ride one that will bring you to Baluarte  it's a place where there are tiger and  animals. Just few minutes travel time said locals there.  I did not make it there because we need to catch the 2pm plane in Laoag airport.  If we traveled by land back to Manila perhaps we can go to Baluarte. (By land Vigan is very long hours of travel back to Manila)
