It's summer time in the Philippines , time to go to TAGAYTAY  the nearest weekend getaway from  Manila.Just less than 2 hours from Manila using private car.  If commuting,  perhaps travel time is  more than 2 hours.  There are buses w/ signboard Nasugbu from Edsa, Taft Avenue terminal (near MRT Edsa/Taft station) .  If staying overnight the following places have room accommodations. During Holy week  these places are occupied and there's traffic. Or just take your chances if there are available rooms nearby.We usually go there during ordinary weekends.

 View park hotel is in front of Picnic Grove.  From Olivarez just ride a tricycle going to Picnic grove.  Or go to jeepney  terminal in front of Touchpoint.  Tricycle during ordinary days is easier to get because jeepney terminal is a long walk from Olivarez. Picnic grove is a well known landmark  in Tagaytay.  DAP & view Park hotel are across Picnic grove.

Below is  View Park's adam's cafe  There's a restaurant inside but we prefer to eat lunch facing the road w/ the view of Picnic grove.

Dap Tagaytay is just beside View Park, it is  also a good place to stay overnight  because they have facilities like Leisure park ( one photo above), Billiard, basketball court, in-door table tennis court , lawn tennis court. I think most rooms are available  during weekends, because during week days there are seminars in Dap. Just call them for inquiries Dap Ortigas tel. # 6310923 This is in front of Picnic grove, just cross the street and enjoy kite flying , horseback riding in Picnic grove.  Photos below are taken in Dap Tagaytay. There is No swimming pool in DAP but it's okay w/ us.
