Malling is really a therapy.   I have been going to department stores in Avenida,  Cubao, Greenhills since the 90's to buy some necessities.  From then on department stores became big, modernized malls - Mall of Asia, Megamall, Trinoma, Robinsons, Greenbelt and a lot more.  If there's  a real Dora then the malls    are too many to explore.  If  Alice is around then the malls are truly a wonderland especially Mall of Asia.

It's a therapy because shopping or window shopping helps you to divert your attention away from so many stressors.  Just be careful with spending.  Spend wisely.  Look for good bargains but don't buy when you don't need an item.  There are many activities to do inside the mall ; go to the gym inside the mall, I pay my bills there, do groceries, mailings , worship because there are churches there and  there  are many other services offered by the malls.

I listed down some observations when I do malling.
1.  Megamall  has too many customers/shoppers among all the malls. And to think that some parts has on going renovation.  If you don't like too many people maybe you go somewhere else or go to Megamall around lunch time.
2. Robinson's toilet  oftentimes has toilet paper .  Other malls has none.   MOA and Megamall and others sometimes provide toilet paper but not as well provided as Robinson's.
3.There are many celebrities doing shopping in Podium, Rustans and high end malls w/ few shoppers.
4. It's good to pray quietly in the chapel inside the mall when there's no on-going service.
5. Most malls have medical clinic including Starmall.
6. Vmall and Gateway Cubao have  pay toilets but Robinsons , Megamall fashion hall  toilets are much nicer and its free.
7.Children seems elated when entering a mall same with me.
8. Trade exhibit  in Megamall & other malls oftentimes promote Filipino products ,so please patronize them.
9.  Be careful w/ your belonging because some pickpockets are also roaming around.
10. Bring your own bag so you won't be charged for extra bag if you don't like paper bag.
11. Rustan's Department store sales clerks seems the most  helpful & respectful .
