Going to Boracay was the first on my bucket list - things I would like to accomplish. I am thankful to God ,to all people who made it possible for me to walk through the white and partly beige sand. I smelled & breathed the fresh air and witnessed how life went by in this amazing place called Boracay.
This trip was in deed therapeutic, it gave me inner strength. I felt God's guidance throughout my Boracay and sickness journey. Moreover, I fought my two years battle w/ illness courageously despite the fact that I was very afraid of some medical treatments. I believed God had healed me through the serene nature in the Philippines and the "many helping hands" - they are great, kindhearted people who showed their love ,concern & patience for me especially during my "anxious & fearful moments".
Boracay Beach Chalets Resort is so Pinoy in design . If God permits, next time I'd like to stay in this place , so homey. among all the resorts there this place is so close to my heart because I'm a simple-hearted traveler and the ambiance here reminds me of Pinoy culture.
We stayed in La Carmela in station 2 ,we bought the promo accommodation for 4 in Megamall trade exhibit . This is a good deal however , we realized that it is better to get two-way promo airfare tickets first then just find hotel accommodation when you reached Boracay. One thing nice about Boracay is that there are affordable accommodations in station 2 &3 . Of course, during peak season like Holy week you really have to make early reservations. Hotels in station 1 is upscale. Anyway, we enjoyed going to the beachfront on that side . Walk going to station 1, so wonderful. There's another place ,Alice in Wonderland hotel ( station 2 ) facing the beach ;they have also affordable cottages for rent for families located at the back road not fronting the beach . Photo below is La Carmela de Boracay also a nice place to stay.
